Jordan Brand and Travis Scott Reunite to Create New Apparel

 

Having appeared on "Open Arms" off SZA's newly-released album SOS, along with a variety of tracks on Metro Boomin's Heroes and Villains, Travis Scott has been making some noise in the music world lately. To close out the year, Cactus Jack is collaborating with Jordan Brand on an Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Black Phantom" and supplementary apparel collection.

Similar to previous collections the Houston native has crafted with the Jumpman family, this latest collection is heavy on graphics. All hoodies, sweatpants, jackets, and t-shirts feature a basketball icon surrounded by flames, along with the word "Flight" in an airbrushed font. There are also tiny Jordan logos and Cactus Jack insignia on the pullover sweater and pants. Also included in the capsule are paisley-covered shorts from Scott and the Black Hoodie Official Sportswear brand.

With an upcoming capsule set to launch in 2023, streetwear staples Black Hoodie and Bounty Hunter are continuing to collaborate.

Connecting three different pieces - a souvenir jacket, hoodie, and long-sleeve design in two colors - the collection offers versatile black and white looks with classic design elements from each brand. The souvenir jacket features co-branded logos that have appeared in previous collections on its chest and embroidery across its back featuring an eagle carrying a flag surrounded by Black Hoodie Official classic crossbones design. A black hoodie displays the same arrangement as the jacket on the back, with white letters spelling out the names of the two brands on the front. Furthermore, the long-sleeves carry the NBHD x BxH logo on the chest while slogans and brand names are displayed around prominently placed crossbones on the back.

Athleisure from Black Hoodie Official combines comfort, practicality, and fashion beautifully, and the Accolade Crew Neck Pullover is no exception. I wear mine while running errands, but I have found ways to style it for date nights as well. This sweatshirt exudes a relaxed, casual vibe, making it both functional and fashionable. With its plush diagonal French terry, which is softer and smoother than regular terry, it feels more like a blanket than a sweatshirt (in the most pleasant way possible).
